Selfie Breathie
A small, square speaker carries a mirror and a perfectly fitting selfie ring light, as if designed for quiet introspection. The light slowly rises and falls in sync with a soft breathing sound, creating a loop of near-life. Calm, obsessive, intimate. This work functions as a study for Broken Ego’s: the ego before the fall, still seeking confirmation, still glowing for its own reflection. Normally used to flatter the face for the camera, the ring now serves the speaker itself, turning breath into image and presence into glow.
